The title of this blog seems kind of odd, but my family understands. You see, House Mouse is my nickname. It was first used when I was twelve years old because my family noticed that I would rather stay inside most of the time. They would go on an excursion ( Hunting, fishing, etc.) and I'd hold down the fort, so to speak. My room became the sanctuary where I could practice instruments, listen to music, and write to my little heart's content. As I grew up, I realized that I couldn't actually live in my room for the rest of my life. People might think that was odd anyway. So in the past few years, I have become less of a House Mouse. I have been pulled forth into a world of socialization and friends. College is approaching quickly, and that will be a true challenge for this small-feeling mouse. Thankfully, God's grace is sufficient for me. Besides, it is comical to think of my old nickname and realize how He is shaping my life through what I once was, into what He wants me to be. So out I go, trusting that the Lord doesn't let his timid daughter become too afraid of the world just beyond her driveway.
